Strangely, certain cars/car brands (such as Ford, Honda/Acura, Plymouth, Mazda, and Subaru) weren't included in both the original and REMIX.In the PlayStation 2 version of the REMIX edition of the game, if you highlight the next vehicle the vehicle's actual engine sound glitches/turns off in the garage, therefore you have to keep scrolling between the current vehicle and the next one, or highlight the current vehicle for the proper engine sound to play when the vehicle exits the garage.Loading music is only available in the PlayStation 2 version of the game.However, they can be quite forgiving, especially if you use your car's Special Abilities (preferably Roar or Aggro). Fake rubberband AI, in which they'll speed up to oblivion regardless how far or close you are to the opponents.Some customization parts will make your ride look like a rice burner, unless if you add certain ones with an acquired taste.Also, there are some missing features in this version, such as Pearlescent and Color Shift paint jobs, and Race Editor, but adds a few songs.
